Interesting they said the beemers made up 30 seconds + on last years race time. Maybe 45 isnt as bonkers after all (still cant see it myself). Looking forward to next year already now, but please can we have no more of Toseland and his ill fitting but expensive dentures on comms?
Just watched the highlights Toseland won’t be getting a Christmas card off Haslam or HRC. “ what is wrong with that Honda how can a factory Ducati crash get back on then overtake you in the dry. In the wet yes but that is embarrassing “.
This years WSBK has been the best in years, I'm no JR fan but give the guy credit... looks like the 2021 ZX10R isn't perfect and Toprak is on form which makes great racing for us. Scott after his early mistake did well, I'm not sure if Scott or Ducati will be any better off next season with the BMW and Bautista on the Panigale. Ducati need to give Axel Bassani a factory bike, he's one to watch.
Except people said this with Rinaldi, and he's not setting the world alight. Before that they were saying it about Ben Bostrom, Lorenzo Lanzi, lots of guys have done well in factory supported 'families' then got into the cold hard reality of a factory effort and struggle
Bostrom did win 5 on the bounce though, thus the replica.... As for Rinaldi, I'm not sure why they put him on the bike, probably cheap compared to the big players... certainly wouldn't have been my choice.
The Ducati riders do seem to go on a winning streak after being told they are no longer required by the factory (Lorenzo, Redding), so just tell them they aren’t wanted earlier in the season......
Been a breath of fresh air this season WSB (and not just because it looks like someone is finally going to beat JR). Dare i say more enjoyable than moto gp for the first time in years?
I'd agree it's been better, for sure than it was, however they still need to address the poor commentary and lack of quality camera work, too many distant panned camera views that slow down the action and make the viewer feel distanced. I have watched all BSB this year, and I've fast forwarded through most MotoGP and WSBK. It's entirely possible though that I'm just loosing the love for watching the racing, I know others that have.
I only manage to get the MotoGP highlights (UTV?) - you can't even hear the effin bikes! I like em all, but BSB is where it's at for me.
