  8. Is the nose and tail same as 1299 and the upper and lower side panels same as 1199? I am about to buy a 2015 Panigale R but it’s missing OEM fairings. What other parts are interchangeable with 1199? I’d love to put on DP rearsets on this bike if the rearsets fits? Does 1199 mirrors fit Panigale R?

    Thanks.

  9. 1199r fairigs are actually the 1299 ones, mirrors won't fit, they are different, nose cone and holder is different, side panels different, only the belly pan will fit
Same rear subframe but different fairing panels,
All other parts will fit (rearsets etc)

  10. Any panigale r’s up for KotiAutotalli in Chipping Campden this Sunday?

  13. Bought a R engine. Interested to know how many track km's you could get to get out of the pistons before they are goodbye and loose power.

  14. Ducati web site advises more regular service intervals for track use. Very unhelpfully, no suggested mileage is given. My memory is telling me, you are looking at a valve shim check at 1500 miles. Racing, you were looking at 1500km before a refresh. Andy

  15. Was t it in the manual at something like every 1500km needs a refresh service? I remember a debate quite a while ago about that compared to the bmw at 5000 miles for same track use
