The bolt that holds a jet holder in place.....(No3) has broken I'm having no luck finding a replacement Does it have to be hollow? Or can it be a solid version? (as long as it fits properly)
Thank you, I appreciate the offer..........let's see if there's an easier way. If I need anything making, could I ask you if you can make it?
I suspect that it does need to be hollow. It is directly below the jet needle, the tip of which may go down into the bolt when the throttle is fully closed. Shouldn't be hard to drill out an ordinary brass screw.
I trained as a machinist many moons ago and have a lathe and a little CNC mill at home. I've started to do little jobs for the classic vehicle community. 1 offs that are unobtainium and no professional machine shop wants to make. By all means, if you need something I'm happy to have a look if I can make it. Made that some years ago. 50 cc four stroke 5 cylinder radial engine. Or a new adjuster for a Showa damper that had snapped.
it certainly does need to be hollow, O.P. has two threads running on this, and added a detailed reply on the other thread..
I hadn't seen your reply on the other thread Chris. Didn't realise there was another one but not surprised.
