Here we have for sale my 959 TriOptions race bike with V5 and both keys. The series rules dictate that we move to the V2 for next year otherwise I’d be putting this one in the garage under a blanket and wheeling it out exactly as it is to race again next year. It was bought new in December 2016 and ridden by Pete Hassler in the TriOptions in 2017, 2018 & 2019 before being sold to the Quarry Plant team at the end of 2019. The engine was refreshed by Race HQ in Leeds in January 2020 (invoice available) and the bike ended up being kept as a third / spare bike for the team throughout 2020. I purchased the bike in November 2020 to use in this year’s TriOptions Cup at BSB. After purchasing I took the bike straight to Ducati specialists Louigi Moto in Clutton for a full check over, valve clearance check and dyno run which confirmed a healthy 150bhp. Current mileage is 5560. All frame and engine numbers are present, correct as per the V5 and unmolested. I am the third owner and I know both previous owners and the bike has always been maintained to a very high standard, as you would expect for use in a high level series like the TriOptions Cup. We have always run the bike on Motul 300V, changed after every two rounds (bearing in mind a round at BSB is two 20 minute sessions and two races) and the current oil and filter was new for the last round at Brands Hatch last weekend. The bike has performed exceptionally all year. For the start of the season and purely as a precaution we installed a new lithium battery, water pump and thermostat. It also had a new front wheel speed sensor in July. The spec list is enormous and is exactly as the bike crossed the line in 15th place at the last race at Brands: Ohlins TTX Rear Shock K Tech Front IDS25 Fork Internals Ackropovic titanium Race Cans with baffles (£2500 new, repacked March this year) CRC Bodywork Motoholders front subframe Lightec Rearsets STM bars and clip ons Lightweight Lithium Battery Captive wheel spacers R&G brake lever guard GB moto engine case protection Hel Performance brake and clutch lines EBC GPFAX Pads R&G front axel sliders and lock stops R&G Radiator Protectors R&G tank grip Race seat with tank extender Samco Hoses Tank Foam Ducati Performance keyless fuel cap DID 520 race chain (new this year) Rain light with handlebar switch Very good Pirelli Supercorsa tyres (Rear has done 10 damp laps of Brands, front has done 20 laps) Spares Full set of sprockets to cover all UK tracks OEM fan with manual switch (we race without it but it can be useful for track days, easy to refit) A couple of sets of useable brake pads The right hand fairing has some small scratches from a very minor low side at Brands Hatch last weekend (first one all year) and the top fairing has a couple of small cracks from the same incident but its more than useable and fits perfectly. The Ackrapovic cans have some light scuffs on them where they touch the ground occasionally when leant over. Shock was serviced at the start of the year and the forks were serviced in July by Colin at 100%. The bike is located in Somerset £8750 or close offer. I’d also consider selling it on standard suspension for £7450 if that’s what someone is looking for. More pictures available on request. Thanks for looking, any questions feel free to ask. Simon
Since advertising I've swapped the cracked fairing panel out for a spare I had in the same colour scheme so thats all sorted now. Wheels there is a choice of the blue set as pictured or a black set if you prefer Anyone interested in something more basic and I can do the bike on standard suspension but the rest of it as it is for £7000 or just the standard bike (standard clipons, rearsets, exhaust etc) for £6000.
