  1. So, was a bit ”sceptic” to start with but now I am sure. This one is a keeper. Have had a lot of different Ducatis, I have a 996 in the garage as well, but this is the most fun bike I have ever ridden. Suits me and my riding style/capacity perfect.
Will be used both in the streets and on the track.

Now with the full Termignoni system it is the bike it should have been from the factory!!!! Even lighter, better sound and a few more horsepowers as well. At least that is what Termignoni says, not tested.

  13. I do love the new Monster but find it a shame they didnt put a detuned V2 engine in it. Had a Supersport but found the engine a little lacking

  14. I guess that the answer to that is the new Streetfighter V2. But, having hada Panigale V2 before I still say that I love this bike. The engine, light weight and how agile it is. I really recommend that you test one, my wife had a Supersport before and I have a hard time even believing it is the same engine. That is how different it feels when it is placed in the Monster.

  17. He already has a 996 so possibly not a newbie? Guess you can see when he joined though

  18. Been a monster fan since 2006 when I got ride round Cadwell on a DUK Monster S4RS. So much fun and so easy to change direction compared to my 998. I think maybe my days of raking about the UK and Europe on a 998 are over. I've owned it nearly 20 years now but I've always had the idea that when that time arrived to give up on riding about crouched over the tank I'd go for an S4RS. BUT the later monsters look just as much fun and the running costs are probably less than the earlier bikes.

Can't face the idea on not having a bike to have a hoon about on just yet, if only for maybe thousand or so miles a year

When spring springs I need to be taking an look at a late monster.
