Hi, I own a 2013 Hyperstrada. I've just fitted a complete new lock set. The Dashboard is showing a Error message and in the sub menu it shows error Immobilser. Do I now need to take it to a main dealer to get the new keys coded? I purchased the lock set from a main dealer and it doesn't come with a code card and both keys are black. Thanks
Sorry, Had a rethink about that and edited the post almost immediately. New keys will need coded to the bike.
Hmm. It might not be so easy. From the Ducati Technical Bulletin : Depending if your keys have removable transponders you may be able to do it yourself : If your keys don't have removable transponders you've got a big problem. You would do well to have a read of the attached document. it will give you a better idea of what the situation is.
Looks like you'll just have to swap the transponders from the old keys to the new ones. If you don't have the old keys it's a dealer job and a new instrument panel.
I've just swapped over the transponders from the old keys to the new keys and it made not difference! still showing error on the dash
