Can l fit these parts into non adjustable Showa forks?

 

You'd need to drill & tap the lower 'lug' on the fork to match that found on the 900ss which houses a damper adjusting screw (not sure if its suppose to be compression or rebound). Other posts on the web can be found to talk about the functionality (or otherwise) of these adjustable internals.

It may or may not apply, but the 91' forks are 35mm shorter than the later carbie forks - so check you lengths for the standard and modified forks. You may need to reduce the usual 17mm exposed stanchion above the upper yoke to being flush, unless you like quicker steering of course.

Thanks Richard, I don't want to get involved in machining out the boss to fit the adjustment screw so I'll just stick with my non adjustable forks.

 

You could always just use the top cap and have preload adjustment (plus cooler appearance)

 

They do look good and I suppose I could fake the adjustable screw head in the boss
