Problems With Powerbronze

Discussion in 'Powerbronze' started by Fraz, Sep 20, 2021.

  1. Hi all

I purchased a Powerbronze screen for my Panigale V2, fitted it and all seemed fine. After a while of riding I could hear a tapping sound like loose plastics then I noticed a mark on the screen and the plastic visor that goes over the speedo. I took the screen off and have noticed the oem screen has a lip that the Ducati plastic visor sits on and so sits it firmly in place. The Powerbronze doesn't, so it allows the plastic to move up and down with the vibrations.

It clearly doesn't fit the V2 like it states.

I've emailed Powerbronze a few times now with no answer. Not a dicky-bird.

What would be my next port of call if I'm getting no response?

  2. Have tagged him to your post
He was away on holiday until August but hasn’t been here in 8 weeks

  3. Have you tried this email

If urgent, please e-mail your query to [email protected] as my colleagues will be happy to assist you in my absence.

it was in his last post

  4. Thanks for the quick reply, [email protected] is the address I've been emailing with no luck

  6. I'm not expecting a response from Powerbronze seeing as I've been ignored so far. It was more to ask the forum what my next step should be if a company ignores questions regarding a product that isn't fit for purpose.

  7. Take a trundle over there and have a chat.

It’ll be a nice ride to West Sussex from yours.

  8. Hello @Fraz and @Ducbird ,

Apologies for the delay in coming back to you, but as this thread wasn't posted in the Powerbronze section I did not receive notification of it.

I apologise for not being regularly active, but I am the only one in the office who manages our forum presence and also have other responsibilities within the sales office as well which take up a large amount of my time.

We will look into the matter regarding this screen and come back to you directly.

    Regards,
    Richard Padwick

  9. Well played for appearing by luck it seems, but his first note does say he has been emailing your core customer address. If your business model is based around customer delivery / satisfaction then you - nicely- need to address emails going unanswered/ unresponded to for over two weeks.

  12. This post is to let members know of an attack on the Powerbronze "Outlook Exchange Server", which allowed access to email messages sent to them using this route.

I have so far received three suspicious email messages ostensibly from Powerbronze but with a link to a concealed URL.

Powerbronze informed me that they had suffered the attack and said it affected "only on our ‘outlook exchange server’ this is why the emails came attached to an already existing email thread. No financial, order details or additional personal information were taken from our servers. Talking to our IT support they suggested that you delete the emails and run an antivirus scan on your device to ensure nothing was attached to the email."

I suggest if you receive an email from Powerbronze that does not seem genuine, you should inform them and follow the suggestion provided above by their IT staff, and of course do not download anything or open any suspect links. You may also wish to alert the National Cyber Security Centre by email at: [email protected], also possibly Microsoft and Alphabet (Google).

I hope this helps avoid significant consequences if affected.

    Tom.
