Anyone Running Tuneboy Qs Autoblipper ?

Discussion in 'Technical Help' started by Wobblyone, Dec 23, 2021.

  1. Hi guys I’ve just flashed my 2011 mts (absolute nightmare but that’s another story )

I’m running the QS etc and was wondering what duration sensitivity setting people had found to work the best ?

I think it’s a little too sensitive on upshifts and too much duration atm and I’m miles out on the downshift settings after the first ride so was wondering if anyone had any data they could share to save me farting around too much ) thanks in advance guys

  2. I did run a tuneboy on a 2013, i can send you my old maps, it was decent 2 - 5.

  3. Cheers boss appreciate it, I’m not sure if the specs the same tho I see the files for mine are all 10-12 ….assuming urs is different or is it a 12 bike registered in 13? Or does it not matter for the QS data ? I’m still trying to get my head around it all atm tbh the support and instructions from TB are pretty poor to say the least ))

  4. The quickshifter settings were kill durations, blip strength and pressure settings that matched to gears/revs etc. There should be no harm in taking the values from my map and applying them to a copy of yours to see if they help.

This is the last map myself and one of the ducati.ms forum were working on here.

Mine is the 2013 twin spark, do not direct load that map find the quickshifter values and transfer them across. While this worked just fine for me for over a year, I take no responsibility for the results of anyone else trying that map. :)

  5. Cheers boss merry Christmas !

  6. Btw do u have to set values to gears revs etc ? Never had that on any system I’ve used before tbh …I only bought the TB because I wanted a blipper system to get round my injury and to make the bike easier to ride had hoped it was going to be plug and play not a computer sciences degree

  7. So it's been about 5 years but I fired up the software. Turns out that dat file was useless, that's what would be loaded into the bike to program it. So ignore that entirely.

Instead it would have be a TRM file. There are two tables, Blip H (which controls the amount of throttle added for the blop) and Blip Len(ght) (how long it provides that extra) these are set at RPM intervals. The values I last ran at are pictured below. You do need to manually set these in yours.

I believe there is also a kill timer in the config options, but I can't load that page as it needs the bike connected.

  8. Thank u mate I’ll give it a try

  9. It might be a stupid question but are none of these values added when u upload the “tune map” from TB and click u have a quickshift? It does confuse me that the end user seems to have to develop their product rather than plug and play as I’d sadly assumed

  10. Defaults are loaded when you tick the QS box in the configuration menu and then you can adjust the Kill time and Pressure as well as blip pressure
Best way I find is to load three maps with different settings and switch between them on the fly to see how you like the differences.
I’ve got a trim file with QS setup on a RR but it’s from a Diavel , pm with an email address if you want a copy to review (QS settings will be same on the MTS)

  11. thanks Matt pm sent

  12. God this sites hard work on a iPhone )) how do I pm u?

  13. Click the dog next to my post and then “start a conversation “

  14. You have two files with TB, a .dat file which is the software to be loaded into the bikes and the .trm files which are the various settings. A .dat is generally a one off load at the start (although when I was using this the system was still in development so that wasn't the case) and then the trm file you can load 3 at a time to compare.

You can't straight load my trim file as it's from a 2013 MTS so while the QS values will probably work the fuel values wouldn't be good for you. Which is why for my values you need to copy them into your trim file and then load onto the bike.

But this was never a plug an play system sadly, any settings are the result of much effort adjusting/testing by various owners.

  15. cheers bud yes sadly I should of done a bit more due diligence especially now I’ve seen the hundreds of internet posts complaints about customer support etc from them )) I’d already bought a IRC fitted it then found it wouldn’t fit A 2011 even tho they say it will )) but hey hopefully we can get it there ) thanks again for the help mate
