V4 Big Decision Made

Discussion in 'Panigale' started by Android853sp, Jan 15, 2022.

  1. Decided to put my V4 Speciale Magnesio back to road trim before selling it which means all the track specific parts I've thrown at it, will be for sale.
These include, 2019MY Ducati V4R track fairing kit in anniversary red, complete (wings, additional brackets, light blanks etc), a Speciale petrol tank including a QR Spider fuel cap (no pump), DP race seat, WRS +25mm race screen, Ducati factory dry clutch conversion kit which includes the additional engine case for the early 2018MY base and S models but I'm fairly sure it's the same kit without the case that fits the later 2018MY up to 2020MY, Spider WSBK rear sets (race shift), Fullsix swing arm cover and Panigale 1299S forged Marchesini wheels with 320mm Brembo race discs (and part worn Pirelli SBK slicks). The bike is booked in at the end of the month but will be a fill in job in the workshop to keep the costs down so likely to be appearing late February. Specific parts will be advertised in the parts for sale section when they come off the bike but if you are interested in anything and want first dibs, PM me. Andy

  2. How much for the fairings?

  3. Hadn’t give any thought to prices, just got my head around the way forward to move my V4 on. I’ll give it some thought. Andy

  4. Okay, just to keep on top of this, subject to photos and price agreement, I have received expressions of interest for :

    Fairing kit
    WRS Screen
    Dry clutch conversion
    Tank

  5. Why are you selling Andy?

  6. Just the fairings, maybe depending on the looks and price.

  7. I had a nasty single vehicle incident when I was 19. One of the deemed lesser injuries at the time, was several bruised thoracic vertebrae. Nearly 50 years later, a sports bike body position has started to very quickly causes pain and immobility in my neck and shoulders. 8 or 9 laps into a session at Almeria last year, my neck and shoulders just seized up and I couldn’t lift or turn my head to look through the bend. A couple of laps later, I started to get double vision which gave me 2 apexes to choose from :joy: I did the entire 4 days completing 10 lap sessions every 90 minutes/2 hours. Nothing anyone can do but I’m not giving up. I’m okay riding my Multistrada which is why I’ll shortly be taking delivery of my track focussed Multistrada. Whilst I’ve been blown away by the V4 and have loved riding it, I’m not emotionally attached and the money released by the sale can fund a lot of fun things to do :D Andy

  8. Here you go. Someone has asked about the screen so no problem. Andy

  10. Cheers but you’ll still see me on track. I’m really pleased with how my Multistrada project has come together so an outing at the Silverstone Ducati day is in the calendar and if I can get to 102db static, I’ll make Brands too. Andy
