Running nicely now - bit of a flat spot at 5.5k but I think that's due to stock jets / drilled airbox - will be sorted on the dyno at some time in the future.
I figured the crash helmet is pretty appropriate for a Ducati

 

Fresh, but fun couple of hours out on the little B Road buzzer baby SS.

 

Unusually warm for November, put a few miles on the SS.

 

Nice one. Like you say, a warm day here in the south east. Probably the last dry day in double figures for a fair while.

First ride of the year and last ride before the fairing / tail unit goes for a re-spray. Hopefully next time I ride it it will have the high level cans on as well !

No bother at all on that I'm glad you got it - I'm obvs not aiming for a concourse restoration on mine but I totally get why the right detail in the right place can make a difference

 

It's not arrived as yet so who knows what condition it'll be in, hopefully Mr postman drops it off tomorrow or the next, but looking forward to getting rid of the smoke screen so this'll transform the looks.

 

Blast from the past - I had ordered (and received) a headlight seal but not fitted it as the fairing is going for paint so there seemed little point taking the fairing off just to fit the seal..
Took the fairing off tonight and found it does have a headlight seal already - I guess it was just on backwards....

 

They all seems to fall back on to the headlight, when I say all obviously @DanSS600 doesn’t!

 

My rubber handling skills are grade A.

 

I got the repainted body work back from paint shop yesterday so had to put it back on before sleeping which led to a late night fitting it (I only got back from a gig at 2340 rather than it taking a long time..)
I am so pleased with my Ducati !

 

Looks good, especially with the high level pipes.

Getting some miles in on the SL now it's running right.

 

Took her out today after having spent a month on servicing, belts change, carb rebuild, front cylinder leak fixed, and more things that I could do just on weekends. Detailed her and took her out for a ride. She is just perfect and ride like a dream!
