Random 'ducati' Picture Thread

Just under £2K was an awful lot of cash back in 1975.
In early '79 I bought my (and still own it) new 900SS for £2,460 on the road IIRC?
But at the same time you could buy a CB900FZ Honda for around £1,600.

The price went up to £2700 a year later when I bought mine. Which was more than my yearly wage at the time..

 

I'm 100% certain that you've remembered that price incorrectly chap, as I still have the receipt for my new '79 model for £2,460.

Mine's certainly slow with a flat battery, so I'll give you that one!

 

I'm afraid your mistaken Steve, list price was £2659 in 1980 which was still above my full years wage. I was going to buy a Jota but they had a price rise to £2900 I think which was a step too far.
Probably cheaper in the long run
