  2. Just saw McPhee got a M2 ride. It’s probably his only hope at staying in the paddock next year. Although with petronas pulling out I can’t see it..

  3. Well i wish them the very best, but i've to say i'm just not sure if Mcphee has the body structure for Moto2.

  4. playing devils advocate, Pedrosa was as small and yet he won races in the big class. Actually in fact, maybe Pedrosa was just THAT good, and probably the best rider not to win a championship in the last 20 years

  5. Yes based on that you have a valid point, but you'll need the fire in your belly in the first place for winning, but maybe he can prove me wrong in 2022.

  6. Mcpheehe will probably be twice as strong as most regular people twice his size. It’s weather he has the talent to win that’s the debate. Some are needed to fill the ranks: is that what he is and is he happy at that?

  7. I'm glad to see they're giving McPhee a go in Moto2, I think this will be his last chance saloon in Grand Prix (certainly in a decent team) assuming he can have a good result.

I'm sure Dorna will be assisting in keeping both him and Dixon in the classes being the only Brits (not forgetting Sam obviously), but age has to be against him ever making it to the premier class now.

  8. I
I feel if Sam had bagged the championship last year he would have been rewarded a ride in the top class, but not a factory, just a satellite one.

  9. may gut feel is that Sam L is just about good enough to be a paid rider there in a top team, where as I think McPhee and Dixon will require the Dorna funding support to stay in the classes. Still, it’s more likely Dixon will get that for MotoGP but whether McPhee will get it for Moto2 when Sam is up front, that’s the less sure thing
