If only. Whilst staring at the ceiling at 0200hrs this morning it occurred to me that whilst the cabinet rally round the buffoon, the Tory party implodes again and spends weeks on saving their political careers the country still functions more or less. It then occurred to me that perhaps we should have a two year "trial" of life without politicians (for the good of society...) as it seems we can all function without them and they can all take a long flying fuck off a short pier; whatever persuasion they be. It certainly does make you think about regional devolution, independence, going your own way and ignoring this collection of incompetent halfwits. Every time I see the buffoon and Co, I ask myself, "is this really the best we have?" We can and must do better.
The Belgians did that a few years back for well over a year as I recall, didn't do them any damage, the country kept functioning, the world didn't end... Makes you think, doesn't it...
I would hope that if one of these got me part of me would be honoured. Whichever part was left at that point.
Nah. Lion kills are not always the instant and relatively painless bite to the throat/spine that we see on wildlife documentaries. Prey animals are frequently eaten alive, with one lion doing the subduing and the rest of the pride tearing chunks of flesh off the legs and hindquarters and/or disembowelling them.
