How does the fact Multirider75 being impressed at the dealer unfolded in such a complex conspiratorial and aggressive post? I dont get it...
Sounds to me of a chap with an axe to grind , and is possibly unable to move out of a rut . Seen and read it before , oh well , back to the PP …
Not really. Love my V4S. But I recall distinctly a number on here berating the V4 when it was launched and how it was ugly and built for a profit. Multirider was one of the main protagonists ,saying how Ducati were betraying their loyal following, which was comical given that I’m pretty sure he’s only ever owned one Ducati. Then the PP comes out and is basically a V4S with fancy paint, different wheels and an Akra and all of a sudden it’s the best bike ever. Like I said, reminds of the guy on the GS forum that had GSs and they were the best bike and then he got a KTM and suddenly GSs were shit. But hey, we’re all a bit vain and think our bike is the best ever. So good luck to all you boys getting the PP.I’m sure it’s a great bike, but wasted on me who can’t even exploit anywhere near the full potential of the V4S with its 19” front !!
I think the best of this forums is having people with same interests sharing their ideas and thoughts , likes / dislikes, tips experiences and most importantly knowledge and support without necessarily attacking or getting too personal or inconvenient ... In my opinion this forum should be a nice place to visit instead of a source of frictions and disputes...
From what I have been told today by a Toyita dealer, manufacturers will struggle to make what they have on sale now without worrying about new models. Want a Toyota pickup? It's a 12 month wait at the moment.
I’m sat in the garage , with the PP and have over today come to a few conclusions. The V4 s I had before was brilliant , but , I felt the bike could offer a lot more to the rider who chases perfection . My on going issue was as good as the package was it really needed more . The PP has done this with the addition of a tweaked chassis , the option of a better choice of tyres , and a bike that now looks like it should have done . Now I know that the loss of money I took on the V4s was for some hard to swallow , but my passion is bikes and the new PP has filled the hole I have been chasing for ages . Sat here again with a beer and a great looking bike makes me happy . The paint job and the smaller wheels has made me all Boxerlust ……..
Have you fitted your iconic satnav mount yet? I noticed yesterday that there isn’t that much room behind the small screen. And does the full system comes with a carbon heel guard?
Is that the Iconic GPS mount? Is the height good? Might be the angle of the picture but looks really high. Also, what's the black thing on the left hand fork (right hand fork in the picture)
Few more bits changed over … need hot roads Anyone fitting the evotech guards I would recommend not using the supplied bolts as they are shite , struggled to get the originals off as seized , changed for stainless cap heads and a small amount of waterproof grease on the threads .
Can I ask what fitting kit you are using in the Abba stand? When I asked at the Nec show they said they weren't available till 2022 and they still dont show on their website.
