  2. A good result will be 4 lines. 3 will need an element of fortune.

    A good starter is to sort your vowels out first and this will take you 2 lines. In order of frequency of use they are E A I O U. Having done that you should also have eliminated or confirmed 5 consonants. Their frequency of use starts like this
    R T N S L H D C M so from the third line onwards I try to confirm or eliminate these in order of hierarchy if possible.

  14. I must do a tally as I seem to get it in 4 goes more often than not. Or at least it seems that way :)

    edit: just gone back over the past few days since I found out how it works and it looks like I get it in 4 60% of the time. :)
