Hi I was wondering if anyone can help. I’ve just seen a set of DP indicators on fleabay and wondered how I go about swapping the standard indicators to the DP ones. I have an evotech tail tidy and can’t see how they are removed. Do I need to strip the tail tidy down ? Thanks
You shouldn't have to strip down the entire tail tidy. Pretty sure, if you look up at the underneath of the tail tidy, there’ll be a couple of bolts that lets you separate the bit that holds the indicator. Andy
Thanks Andy I will take a picture when it’s light and see what you guys think. Ducati Preston fitted the tail tidy and the only bolts I can see are the ones that hold the tail tidy to the bike and then a couple of bolts that hold the number plate holder to the tail tidy.
These are pictures of a DP tail tidy, the indicator body has a lip which is clamped by the two halves. Andy
I think with the Evotech tail tidy, it has to be stripped down. When assembling one of the first instructions is the bolt that holds the indicator on. If you go on the Evotech website you can download the instructions.
