Bought an immaculate 2001 ST2 thinking I was still twenty-something... Whilst I love the bike, my wrists can't handle the riding position and would appreciate input on how to raise the bars, not a cm or two - it needs to be at 5cm - 6cm, possibly more (or up and back). I've seen pics of various STx's with much more upright bars, but unsure if this is a major mod' that involves changes to fairing position/mounting. Many thanks.
A Monster top yoke of around the same era has the same offset and fork size, and clamps to mount standard bars. I've got an ST2 top yoke on my M1000, so know it works. Just then need a set of apehangers. But you might need to cut the fairing
