  1. Friend of mine has just had an insurance quote from MCE for his PP which he’ll pick up on 1st April

It’s either an April fools joke or they don’t want his business

  2. Think we all got same sort of quote from them on comparison sites......but aren't they in administration or something?

  3. I had a shock trying to get insurance, I was with Bemoto but they wanted £800 so I shopped around and got Ducati insurance for £450, but try a online quote first then phone them they dropped the price after a conversation.

  4. That's sort of price I paid to ducati insurance too :upyeah:

  5. Hi, what sat nav bracket did you go with and are they V4S handguards?

  7. MCE Brokers are still trading, it was MCE Insurance Ltd who went into administration. Clearly MCE Brokers Ltd can no longer get policies underwritten by MCE Insurance as the underwriter so they back it off with other underwriters.

  8. Makes my price with 3 bikes, helmet and leathers & excess protect seem quite cheap!

  9. Hi,
Went with Evotech bracket and works really well. Ducati handguards with removable top half for warmer weather.

  10. What screen is that?

  11. Standard screen.
Looks to be in high position on photo but ran it in lowest position yesterday.

  12. That looks bigger than the pikes peak screen. Must be the camera angle

  13. Doesn't seem to make a whole lot of difference to me

  14. I’m getting the carbon screen on mine

  15. How does that compare size wise? Ironically on my 1260pp i found the stock carbon screen was great whereas when I rode the 1260s the screen was dreadful. But on the v4pp it's the other way round, the v4s standard screen was good when I test rode it but the v4pp isn't great

  16. It looks like the same size, but someone on here said the vent is located higher up, so is better for buffering

  17. Expensive way to find out if its any better though

  18. It’s carbon, it’s bound to be!

  19. just ordered it and will be fitted at first service next week. got decent price as i bought the bloody bike so fingers crossed that sorts the buffeting issue and will report back..........and of course looks good

  20. For those that have received your bikes, you can help those of us that haven't by posting more photos.

    Consider it a public service!!!!
