Hi, I'm looking into getting an aluminium tank for my 2012 streetfighter 848. I may have found someone, but they need a donor rank to create a mould off. I think ducati have 2 models of tanks for the streetfighter. The 58611721 and the 58611861. Pre and post 2012. Are there any differences in the tanks, such as physical dimensions? TIA

I'm not sure about the physical differences. I am not aware of any. I thought the post 2012 tanks were updated for use with Ethanol fuel. There is a difference with the key guards on the American spec tanks. Part number 58631861a. Also there is a group bay being organised on the Facebook group. Assume the same one as Chris found.
