I try every time and I think I'm getting close until I review the photos!! I'm literally a country mile away from getting my elbow down!
Just back from Mugello, 3 days on track, one wet (no, it never rains in May..), one damp and the last day in the Italian sun with some rain in the 4th and 5th session. What a beautifull track, but what a pain to get right, at least for me and my lack of talent After 3 laps there was some rain in sector one, end of the back straight, since I'm Dutch rain is normal. Slowed down a bit, turn one and two like normal, turn 3 out I lost the front just like that. Slippery as hell. I'm perfectly ok, this is not a fast corner, the bike just needs some bits and tlc. Could be worse, could have crashed on Friday. Needs to be ready for next Monday.
Evening session at Cadwell to do some testing with tyres and front brake. Needless to say the tyres don't feel great, the front brake m/c is wank and i'm riding like a right lemon!!!!
Donnington Park, last week. First time out on the Streetfighter V4 on track (and first proper ride on the bike after I got it 2nd hand). Really enjoying it, although I could feel I was holding on way too tight, not used to the bike or the naked stance having come from gen3 S1000RR . Getting in another one ASAP
