After a riders seat for the above, ideally ripped / past its best / cheaper! as I'm replacing the foam and recovering it, so a base on its own would do. thanks Andy

Hi Chris, Any tips on recovering the seat... I want to re cover mine in Alcantara. Have the material, staple gun and spray adhesive all ready just not sure the best way to go about it.
Contact @DucatiScud I have just sent them some Alcantara type material and included with it is a full pattern for the 848/1098/1198 seat. You need someone good with a sewing machine. Some contact glue or spray and some 6mm heavy duty staples. I used the pattern to recover 2 seats and found it quite easy to do having never done it before.
