For any who get this issue outside of warranty or just want to avoid a trip to a dealer, replacement is dead easy. Recently replaced mine and installed the kit specified in the tech bulletin that reroutes air to the new sensor. No relearning or flashing required...although you do need to clear the ECU codes, which can be done with a handheld programmer from BrenTune, SLR, etc.. or via a diagnostic tool.
Mines a 2018/19 so drove to dealer - bought/fitted the part PN: 55244421a my self and then Ducati cleared codes and synced up with the gearbox
