Hi, I’m on holiday in Scotland on my Ducati scrambler and have a punctured rear tyre. The tyre is at the end of its life as well so needs replacing. I’m staying near Brora and although I can find a tyre within reasonable distance at Alness they only fit to loose wheels and I don’t have a paddock stand with me. Can anyone suggest anywhere relatively nearby that will have the necessary equipment to remove the rear wheel and fit the new tyre Thanks Pete
@finm ? If Finm can’t help maybe try a can of puncture sealant as a last resort? Or borrow a scissor Jack from a friendly farmer? Nice part if the world to be stranded though. Good luck.
i think you may be screwed that far north and east. inverness may be the closest that can supply and fit bike tyres. there is a place called highland leisure sports that supply trials and enduro bikes v,near Invergordon that's on the rightside of Alness to you that could possibly fit the tyre or point you in the right direct. 01349 854620
