Done around 500 miles since rebuild, pulling like a train she is. Is there any info on re-torquing the head bolts after a set period or mileage? Testastretta motor. Thanks.
For what it is worth: Having serviced many heads on BMW boxers, there is no re-torquing involved, after mounting, with a new head gasket, torque to spec in 3 steps in a criss/cross pattern and then add 90 degrees clockwise on the head-bolts, should be in the repair manual. After all, whether it is a Duc or a BMW or whatever other make, the design of these engines is pretty much the same, just like shimming gearboxes, they all specify a <0.15- >0.05 mm endfloat on the bearings. Same materials, same bearings, same expansion when coming up to temperature . https://www.carlsalter.com/ducati-service-manuals.asp
