So I got my monster 696 back from the insurer, bike was in an impact at the front and lay on its left side. I’m going to start stripping it this weekend, everything behind the headstock bar the engine(becoming a table) and rear wheel are up for grabs. Frame and the whole front end will be scrapped. I will take the termis off first to inspect the left one as the bracket bent, hoping the can mounting point is fine, then these will go first with the performance ecu and 2 sets of baffles. panels are all fine as are the carbon bit(key surround has some marks) feel free to pm me with offers, I will start populating parts and prices this weekend.

I'm interested in buying the Evotech tail tidy as long as you can confirm none of it is damaged given the exhaust damage. I'd ask that all mounting bolts and brake light are included with it. Also, what state are the following items in as I may be interested: Exhaust knee cover on right hand side, is this carbon? interested to buy if the rust will wash off it. Indicators, are any of them damaged? red white and black fairings, are any of them damaged? I am potentially interested in buying these.
Hi mate Tail tidy is fine exhaust did not push on the bracket, will add all bolts but break light will be abit extra. Yeah knee cover is carbon, will be cleaning them up for a pic shortly, fairings are good, seat cowl has a repaired section by the previous owner, I have to inspect the clips on the tank covers as I’ve never had them off. Will send you some pics shortly.

Cheapest brake light on eBay is 30, so you can have it for 15, so 65 for the tail tidy and light. sorry forgot to reply about the indicators, they are working but they had corrosion before so the don’t look the best, I will get everything off today and take pics.
Tail tidy looks good, I’ll take it with the light. How much do you want for the exhaust knee guard? Are you going to be able to check the tabs on the tank covers today?

Thanks for the ET tail tidy and the knee guard they arrived Just thought, this is a 696 and doesn’t have the exhaust valve under the seat, do you know if the pipe section where the exhaust briefly combines is bent on the left side? If not I’d be interested in buying it to cancel out the exhaust valve on my 796. Thank you.

More of the bike is available Loom is intact as are the front switches, fuel pump, tank, air filter(looks like a performance one). Feel free to make me an offer.
Have you had a chance to check if the pipe where the two exhausts meet is bent or not? I am still interested in purchasing if it is alright.
