  2. Looks like you need to specify DIN but no biggy if it comes with a car cigarette lighter plug as adaptors are available. Biggest issue is your bike DIN socket will not have a 10A fuse, more like 3A or 5A so you need to change it. Again, no biggy, I did the same on mine. Andy

  3. The Customer questions and answer section for the Amazon listing lists several cases where the current draw exceeds a motorcycle's accessory plug rating and blows its fuse. The pump's current rating is 10 amps compared to the Ducati accessory plug rating of 7.5 amps.

I advise against replacing the accessory plug fuse with a higher rating. The rating for the whole circuit is 7.5 amps.

If you plan to carry it onboard as a precaution against a flat on a trip, you need to wire it direct to the battery with an in-line 10+ amp fuse and a quick-disconnect pigtail.

  4. Yes, I have used that one, connected directly to the battery through a battery charger pigtail and it blew the pigtail in-line fuse fitted. I shoukd have checked it. The pump also rattled itself to pieces after about 10 minutes use. I "borrowed" the VAG pump from my SEAT and it has been faultless. Andy
