Hi Guys. Would anyone be able to confirm if the same rear wheel spindle was used on any of the other familys?? I’ve heard 916 is the same?? My 848 has some play, but only in certain positions. The spindle has grooves in the area where the needle roller on R/H side bears onto spindle, only done 4900 miles but it’s been sitting for a while, almost looks like the rollers have corroded lines into the surface coating, you can feel it with your finger nail! So, looks like I’m on the lookout for a decent replacement, new bearings and seals for the hub!
Thanks Sev. What spacing did you have to do to get it to work? They do look identical, apart from the zinc plating colour.
