  1. Yeah, you're right, they are 'middle' ethical, along with a whole load of others who need to up their game.

I only get my (3rd wave) coffee from 100% ethical sources, though. It's fairly easy to do these days, if you're so inclined.

  2. And Costa is now owned by Coca Cola.

Find an independent coffee place and keep your money local is my motto. Not always possible though I grant you.

  6. This turned into the most Middle Class thread on the forum. Discussing coffee!! Ad nipping to the continent in his Aston to buy his favourite roast!

  7. Only drink Coffee when I’m on the move in my van all other times it’s Water, so local is not viable.

  11. Trust mine to go anywhere, however, I have an annoying oil leak it isn’t bad but annoying. I may tackle head gaskets this winter.

I’d love an Aston but wouldn’t dare carry out my own maintenance on one, which is part of the “joy” of having the Stag, I do everything myself

Sorry for the thread high Jack.

  14. Seem to recall that you can get different type of stud now but can't recall if it is just slightly undercut to reduce contact with the head or different material, poss st steel?

  15. Yes, they’re called “waisted” the shank is turned down slightly, I found this out afterwards:rolleyes:
I put copper slip on and when I re torque the heads I will turn the studs also.

Again, sorry for the thread high Jack

  20. I like Costa even the machines beat most other places and most home made coffee. SBux have got a bit better of late I'd say, at one time it awas a half hour wait fro a cup of warm mud. I'm a bit of a coffee bore too. Real Favourite is Valvona and Crolla but that's 80 miles away. I make do at home with Gillards of Bath and Another Coffee of Devon's wonderful coffees.
