Hi guys, set up Sygic on my Multi V4 through Ducati Connect for the first time. No issues with connectivity or mirroring my phone, works absolutely fine. However once I start the route the map stays at the start location / first instruction and doesn't move no matter what I try. It's not updating as I ride along. Anyone else experience this and/or know what the solution is? I've tried the usual stuff of checking the app settings / permissions etc. 2021 bike and latest iPhone 13 software. Thanks.
Zumo XT man as well , the Sygic seems to keep recalculating and only really does a to b routing . I will use it if in a hurry to get something local on the bike but not for rides out . Good back up maybe . Do all my routes on the base camp and Routeapp, sorry can’t help with your original issue as not really up to speed with it
Thanks for all the response guys, I think I'll just stick to my tried and tested method of phone on a Quadlock mount as the app seems a right faff.
There's also an official mount available now, it just appeared on the configurator. But it's insane money and looks like a bad version of the iconic mount. There's also an official Ducati branded Zumo XT as well that also appeared on the configurator. I'll leave you to work out if that is good value . Not like they can claim like BMW that it works with the bike's switchgear for easier operation, it's literally an XT with a Ducati badge stuck over the Garmin logo on the front
Bought the XT for £300 from Garmin. They gave me £50 off by returning a non working car garmin. Bought the Iconic mount £125 . Ducati want £702 for the same kit.
I think seeing that it mounts the same way as the new OE mount gives a lot of validity to the design (over something like the Evotech one). The only issue with the Iconic one is whether it's in stock. Whenever I look, it's on backorder!
Iconic told me the new stock is at the powder coaters and they hope to deliver mine this week , if not the following week.
