  12. Many of us will be dust in 30 years time - based on demographics of the bike industry - and assume this forum?

  13. In my experience, Cava & Champagne can/should be stored cork down (or at least flat, so cork is immersed) to keep the cork moist, which ensures better gas sealing. Obvs bottles with plastic 'corks' does not apply...

  14. Re booked the ferry from Tulon in the South of France to Bastia on Corsica for September. Failed attempts to go in 2020 and 2021, determined to get there this year.

They credited me with points last time around, rather than issue a refund. Of course this was for the full amount including tax. Using points to pay for the crossing this year of course didn't include the tax element, this was added afterwards, so I was left with a bunch of points on my account. Girlfriend is seriously thinking of joining me after a successful trip out on the bike together at the weekend. So included her in the booking and the total came to the exact amount of my points... I think that was meant to be :D

  18. Tough day, culminating with hard conversation with one of the team which wasn’t taken well. It’s as if they think you are trying to upset people on purpose sometimes and enjoy giving constructive feedback. Worst part of my job by miles.

  19. Must be really boring, you keep on falling asleep.
