Last minute decision to head off to Wagamama's with Carole and her daughter for the evening. Do enjoy Waga’s, large Asahis and on this time occasion, Teriyaki Soba Salmon for me followed by a smoked chocolate cake. Didn’t drive this time so a few more Asahis than usual Andy
Helped unload 176 double glazed units which were delivered to our yard this morning instead of direct to site because of a cock up!. Had a reasonable afternoon at work, got home and went out for a pedal with a mate. Sat in the garden now having an ice cream at 9:45pm.
Still infected with the no longer existent CoVid thing. Sweating, head ache, muscle ache and lungs like a bitumen tank. On the bright side it keeps the kids away and I get to sleep in the box room bed
Had a run over to Ducati Manchester this morning. Set off in glorious sunshine but as soon as I got to the Saddleworth sign on the Isle of Skye road it started to lash down. As I was soaked through within a couple of mins I decided to carry on and it continued to rain to Mosley, where it was dry. When I eventually got through Ashton under Lyne and on the motorway the rain started again. I kept going and it stopped around the Stockport pyramid. From there on the sky was blue, but I was soaked and my nether regions were rather damp, and not for the right reasons Anyway I had a couple of coffees at Ducati Manchester, few chats, and eventually dried out before setting off for home. The ride home was spirited Tonight I’m off to Saltaire for a curry
Took the cover I bought from here off the bike and stood like a lemon and looked at it for a bit. Not sure what it is, but can't motivate myself to get out and ride recently, including turning down mates invitations. I'll get over it.
Snap. It’s one of the reasons I’m playing so much golf. Just CBA even tho the fellas are a great laugh and I always enjoy the ride when I do get out
