The prior owner of my D16RR put a satin clearcoat on all the exposed carbon fiber. I'm restoring everything back to 100% stock. Question to current owners if they can check theirs: should the front mudguard decal (which I've ordered, don't have yet) be applied on top of the gloss finish, or applied before and clear-coated over top? I haven't been able to see an original in-person. Thanks
Yep, just checked mine and it is under the lacquer. Lacquer is thin though so you can 'feel' the edges of the sticker
