  1. I play 5 or 6 days a week and it means I walk 50-60 miles a week.

  2. The problem is, I like a different course every time, so this week, High Wycombe, Liverpool and Grimsby - around 750 miles to hit a ball a few times :D

Next week, closer to home at Bury and Dukinfield.

High Wycombe was 28 degrees and pretty hilly, so knackered, but the fairways were that hard, I played the course and hit a 7 iron of a 420 yard par 4 and was 80 yards out. Made a great second shio to within 6 feet and birdied - the only one of the day for the eight playing.

  5. Second meeting with the attorney to sort my Dad’s estate today. He sounds like Tom Selleck, and is as mad as a box of frogs. Had the wake the other day, which was quite entertaining, as most people here are also crackers. About to go to meet up with a few of my Dad’s friends for drinks and dinner, which will be nice.

  10. Just returned from a road trip in Georgia (the country) with my 13 year old son by car... Great Roads paved and unpaved, very few bikers. Met 5 guys touring Armenia-Georgia-Turkey.
Blew a tire with 40 km of medium difficulty unpaved ahead. Made it to the next "garage" 100 km away, had the left front replaced with a used tire for 20u$ all-in. Loved this trip, fell in love with the Subaru Forester, and underrated car imo.

  12. Had a message last night when leaving off work.
"anyone fancy a ride to the coast for fish & chips?". The Mrs was going dog training, daughter working. No brainer.
A steady ride out to The pilot at Dungeness. Huge portion of food I could have shared one really, gorgeous though, not cheap and the place was packed, what economic crisis?.
A rather more spirited ride home as the light had faded and only a tinted visor on.
