  2. its a bit too hardcore.. i need it to move a couple of bikes around the house

  3. The newer constands one look better than the warrior stand. But I'm still not sure I'd trust the pins
    What about Bursig?

  4. good idea am researching now

  5. I have the constands version. Used it to move my monster 1200 and now my Multi around the garage. Mainly to turn them around to face right way to ride out. They work well once set up and I’ve never felt the bike would fall off. I don’t use it to do maintenance, but have removed both wheels off monster to get new tyres. I got mine from Motea

  6. I'm about to hit the buy button on the Constand from the Motea site, does it provide enough space under the front wheel on the multi to take it out for tyre changes? That and basic servicing are my main use cases for the stand

  7. I have a constands, never used it on the monster but used it on an MT10 never had any issues with it..safe and stable, doesn't raise it far though, enough to remove both wheels for tyres. It's available if anyone wants to collect from central Scotland

  8. well i did manage to get a used 1jac just need to sort adaptors

  10. Agreed.

  11. @RC1 - when you find a source for 1jac please let us know as I have a 1jac I'd like to sell but there would be little interest without the buyer being able to get hold of the correct adapter for their bike.

  13. Thx, I’ve emailed and asked if they have a 1299 and S4RS adapter and how much. When I get a response I’ll post. If they do, I would be interested depending on price @steveb123

  14. i tried those a few months back but no joy.there was talk of new management etc but nothing seems to have happened

  15. i read that the adaptors of another stand may work

  16. Or probably wouldn't be too difficult for an engineering company to fabricate.

  17. Yes, you will be able to remove your wheels. It needs a bit of setting up by adjusting the angle of the plate on the stand with the adjustment screw. Once sorted the front should be high enough to get the wheel out just fine.

  18. Glad I didn't hit the buy button, have to book an emergency trip back home to Scotland at the start of Feb. Maybe I'll get spare pennies to buy one in March :D
