  1. Hello!
I've almost finished my complete rebuild of my 999..every single damn nut and bolt.

Can anyone please identify the bolts in this pic...cant seem to place them.

They are clearly oily...maybe with traces of copperslip...

    Still to fit to bike:
Fuel tank, seat, fairings, belt covers, headlight unit..

    Cheers
    Grant

Ps: and this little rubber piece!

  2. The bolts are adjustable for length, are they not from the seat catch/mounting plate?

I’ve never seen the rubber grommet before but it looks like the type of thing that goes around a cable/brake line to hold it away from rubbing on bodywork/frame components.

  3. The bolts appear to be the ones fitted to the horizontal cylinder cam belt cover.
These are fitted at the forward end of the cover and allow the horn mounting bracket to be installed.
No idea what the rubber thing is.

  4. Think rubber thing is for front mudguard. There is a cut out on the right hand side for the brake line.

  5. Horn bracket
    Front fender brake line
