What music are you listening to ?

  1. I saw him live at Wembley Arena with Emporer Rosko as the support, most unusual to have a DJ as a support act.

  2. They used all the best guys at the time, Larry Carlton springs to mind, stunning musicians.
Walter Becker was no slouch on the guitar.

  4. I often find myself back at & listening to one of their first two albums when I think they were at their best. Rio Grande Mud & Tres Hombres.

Three piece bands you see - always the best.

  6. There's always an exception to the three piece band rule mind.... :D

  9. It's all @RickyX 's fault, watched/listened to above to remind myself what a @&8$ B.F. was, and then remembered the genuine eyepatch (sic), went to Tesco's and got "Band playing on the Radio" and ended up with Ferry Brainstain. As if it couldn't get any worse this was followed by "Stars" sung by an even larger Tuesday, you know that one who sings i'd give it all up for you" 10 million times in a 3 minute song.:mad::mad:

So thought I would return the favour but with Alice from 3 years earlier.

  17. All Blues from Kind of Blue, my all time favourite album. Recorded the year I was born and, I think, it was pretty much the birth of bebop.

  19. My nephews raved about Orbital for years but I never really gave them a listen. I might have to revisit that. I make no apology for the blatant pun.
