What music are you listening to ?

I like all types of music. Old soul is my first love and what i always fall back on. All genres have merit and all have something exceptional. Except country and/or western. You can shove that. Bar rawhide by blues brothers.

It also has this gem that I’d forgotten all about.

Saw Artic Monkeys on Jules Holland last night, interesting stuff, on the possible purchase list.

 

Bought the album in '76 (red vinyl) - still got it. Chapman - such a distinctive voice...

 

The new stuff has divided Artic Monkeys fan base, I’m not a fan of either of the last 2 albums.

 

The Last Shadow Puppets is a hint to his future style, he loves a ballad.
