I asked, as its a pity you aren't knocking out replacement SS tanks at sensible price within a sensible time scale.......... And if you need specialist assistance with stair design, just shout. AL
I emailed various UK based alloy tank specialists about this very idea and about the shortage of decent tanks, as production type (small run) alloy tanks. As yet not a single response.
oh and thanks for the offer Al but after 20 years hard graft weve given up all that engineering nonsense...its all bikes now
Seen fibreglass ones from the US @ £1200, Japan made alloy ones @ £2000 but have noticed that some specialist tank makers in the UK do small production runs for GSX-r etc starting at around £600 for a basic tank in alloy.
We are still looking for one of these,there are a couple out there,but we are reluctant to pay the currently well overinflated ebay prices
