996 Rear Axle Issue

Discussion in 'Technical Help' started by Markycee, Nov 23, 2022.

  1. Can anyone help? Trying to reassemble a rear axle into swingarm, but the brake disc bolts are rubbing hard against the brake carrier. I don't think I'm missing a spacer, but if I torque this lot up the brake disc will be seized solid against the brake carrier. I cant find any decent exploded parts views & haynes manual doesn't show any spacers so I'm scratching my head here. Any advice appreciated. 20221123_220704[1].jpg 20221123_220704[1].jpg 20221123_220732[1].jpg

  3. Slotted eye goes at the top to meet the support bolt on the swing arm, calliper fits underneath
