  1. My Pani is probably going to go on track soon so let me know what gear you have going spare please. Especially:-

    Track fairings regardless of condition
    Tank regardless of condition
Rear sets (road shift - old dog, new tricks).
    Shock
    Steering damper
Paddock stands - not fussy about brand
    Etc
    Thanks in advance.

  2. How come you want to change the damper and rear shock, Rich? I thought they were bother Ohlins jobbies anyway…

  3. Will do, just got back in from work. :upyeah:

  4. The rear shock is the biggest let down on the bike, anyone serious about track time will replace tyres, brake pads then the rear shock! Same on both the 959 and V2 (Not sure about 899 but would suspect the same!)

  5. I have found the steering dampers pretty ok though on both, so keen to hear your thoughts on that one?

(I have the standard one on my track 959 and had no issues but always happy to hear of any potential ones)

  6. I had a stock steering damper and forks on my 959 but a KTech rear shock. I found the 959 very sensitive to setup. Colin at 100% dialled mine in which transformed it.

  7. Ditto on your thoughts there Jack - I've just order the ktech rear and hopefully getting front end cartridges done next month (Back order)

Another vote for Colin for sure - best 60quid (or however much it will be this year) you can ever spend on track time!

  8. Yes, I know. I replied before reading Rich’s WhatsApp messages. I thought he was talking about tracking his V2 Bayliss which already comes with better suspension than the std V2

  9. On my first 899 I had MCT Rebuild and revalve the shock, as they said the Sachs shock suffers basically from hydraulic lockout on fast bumps. They revalved it with a much more linear needle and honestly it was super plush and bang for buck I'd argue capable up to fast group pace.

I had an Ohlins on my Panigale V2 and do think they are better, but I think where the Ohlins will be MUCH better is consistency as it's get really really hot.

Sorry, just thought I'd chime in with that... I sold my Ohlins TTX GP on here a few years ago for probably loads less than it was worth knowing me, and now they are obscene money!

  10. What stuff fits from 1299 series. I've got fairings, light blanks, tank etc

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
  11. Not much I’m afraid. Tank same apart from brackets for fairings. But a real faff to change.
I’ve got crash protection, fairings, light blanks, mirror blanks now.
Think I’m just about there for now.
