Clutch Compatibility...st3 Vs 900ie

  3. you sure set 'em Grant :) - yes it was/is a dry clutch*.
    i can't say from first-hand experience, but a look at the parts list is encouraging if frustrating, as the final suffix of part Nos are all different bar the crank gear.
    I don't know the finer points of Ducati Part No nomenclature, but if it's like other Italian systems then it ought to mean:- updated part and interchangeable.


    *EDIT apparently wet and dry clutch versions were produced, (like the 848).

  4. That's correct. The ST3 has a wet clutch.

  7. ST3 dry version has aluminium basket/900ie steel in above years apparently (2004 ST3, 2002 900ie).
