you sure set 'em Grant - yes it was/is a dry clutch*. i can't say from first-hand experience, but a look at the parts list is encouraging if frustrating, as the final suffix of part Nos are all different bar the crank gear. I don't know the finer points of Ducati Part No nomenclature, but if it's like other Italian systems then it ought to mean:- updated part and interchangeable. *EDIT apparently wet and dry clutch versions were produced, (like the 848).
