  2. At 2 minutes ffs watch the paintwork…..

  3. Hmm… but it’s not an SP…. They were silver and had a kickstart (weirdly)

  4. He shows you the kickstart, not sure why I went down the Rabbit hole of seeing if they were only Silver but according to this site they came in colours other than Silver.

I have no skin in the game it’s just a rebuild of a RS 125 with SP components or it is a full blown SP. From what he says he’s collected the parts to build his SP. I would imagine majority of the SP are dead from crashes and neglect. I thought for some as it is for me a build of interest, currently trying to lightly restore a 1998 RS before May and stumbled across it.

  8. The great thing about life is that it takes all sorts, but I can't unsee that.... sorry.

I'll try to dig out some pictures of the 125 I restored, it was one of the last mk2 shapes, a 2005, it was a nice little bike, I sold it for £2k I think in about 2015, not sure what it would be worth now, some of the pricing is quite high but because they are rare.

The SP's obv VERY rare, one came up in silver recently for about £3750 and my mate nearly bought it as he had a silver SP as his first bike, followed by a RGV250 SP VJ23, so yeah, he had a good start to his biking journey!

  9. Yet my lad loves it as do I he wants £1500 for it, but not for the purist.

They seem to be anywhere between 2-3k but not as numerous as the early iterations.

£3750 doesn’t sound that salty TBH, there have been a couple of restored standard ones at 5K

The RS250 are another level all getting closer to 10K.

  10. RS250's are on the way down I think mate, a few for sale have been advertised for months, starting at £9-10k and one of them (a clean black one) is down to £8k. I think £8k is about where they are now in terms of fustifiable.

Incidentally I sold my RGV250 SP VJ23 for £8k and they are now around £12k, but there were only ever 20-30 in the country from new as all were grey import

  11. No idea on the value as prices are bonkers these days however that 125 would look much better with only a headlight / tail light swap and not much more imho - like a modern day Aprilia 125 Europa

Sold my RS125 for £1000 years back, my VJ21 for £600 and my 996 for about £3.5k - funny to think that they are all mega valuable now but hey-ho thats how life goes - just hope my tdr, dt-wr, M900 and GPW all go up in value at the same rate ;)

  12. It’s up near you in Alfreton the prices vary wildly but a decent one will be at around 2k+/-. Like it just the way it is, maybe swap the headlight for a LED one similar to the Vitpilen. I only value the riding once I’ve spent the money it’s gone to me, if I make then it’s a bonus to me.
