I have just had the racing silencers fitted to my Panigale MY21 V4 eu5. However when loading the software it has come up with BBS software incompatibility error. The dealer has never seen this before and is baffled. The bike has accepted the software but the error can’t be removed. Anyone experienced this before?

However, if the exhaust and map have been installed at a Ducati dealer and the bike is presumably still under warranty I’d be suggesting the dealer gets in touch with the factory and works out what needs to be done to fix the issue.
I’ve told them about this service bulletin but since it’s from 2017 they said it’s probably not still relevant as everything should have been updated. I won’t name the dealer but initially when I suggested uninstalling and reinstalling the software they said they had done it, but when another dealer I was talking to looked on the system they hadn’t done this. So I took some screenshots and brought that to their attention. Anyway currently Ducati UK is talking to Ducati Italy to resolve this. I think there must be another bbs update required because I had also purchased the DTC EVO3 software and since both the exhaust and the EVO3 affect the DAVC functions I think there’s some link
Ducati have just told the dealer to reload the software. Even though that’s not working!!! Like tripping over the same stone again and again!
Battery?? I remember having bother uploading software for my Termignoni Uscite system as the process knocks shit out your battery. When I charged it up and kept it on trickle charge, the download was successful. @nelly uograded the software (Evo 2?) and I believe the battery flatlined again during this process. PS You’ll probably need to overwrite, thus starting from scratch again.
