  5. Checked the oil level on my 100.000 miles 2002 BMW 1150RT after 1500 miles.. Spot on!
Same goes for my MTS 1100S with 20K miles after flogging it really hard for 10 days in the Dolomites last year. Engine temps going up to 124 degrees Celsius ... way above the 90 degrees when commuting.
Oil consumption... just an tiny bit .. to worth mentioning.

  7. Thanks for the enquiries about my wearabouts folks. (You know who you are) today, yesterday, the day before that and before that and before that ect ect ect I have been mostly taking advantage of the last month and a half of good weather. (I'm only the noo because my receptionist is on holiday) so, in-between putting this piece of shit back together 20230508_085446.jpg
For selling. Or maybe I will keep it. (It's good fun on the single lanes we have a plenty)

I'm desperately trying to get this done. Started during lockdown. Just a few months she said. She is a gardener so she would know right?
Wrong. 3 years later of most dry weekends and days off. Cow.
Anyhoo, nearly there for this year cos the new and improved bigger top fugging pond can effing wait. Because I am taxing the Ducs today. If she doesn't like it she can fug off. And as for the freekin sunroom thing she is now taking about for the bottom corner? Well, I will be talking to my lawyer
Chortle. Anyways, nearly there for this year and looking good enough for now. 20230426_075333.jpg 20230507_095247.jpg

  13. Decided that I’ve had enough rest, so went back to the gym for a workout/ light swim. Did a negative Covid test first, just to be sure. Felt good to be out of the house tbh.

  15. Go
Good to hear you’re feeling better.

  16. I wouldn’t go that far, but I’m slowly getting there!

  17. A round of Crazy Golf, couple of hours of snooker. Took the lad out to start to learn to drive a car in an empty car park, just a little pulling away and left and right steering drills.

Then home to remove a broken washing machine, I’ll try and buy a new one tomorrow locally.

  20. Not today, but Sunday. First cricket match of the season after missing the previous 3 games due to rain and a family christening.

Came in to bat for the last two overs of our innings and scored a quick, but as it turned out, useful 10 not out, leaving us with a fairly unimpressive 166 to bowl at. Then opened the bowling and took 3 wickets for 28 off 8 overs on the way to us skittling the oppos all out for 158, meaning we won by 8 runs.

Lovely weather, great bants and a good game which see-sawed one way then the other right to the end.
