Really like this version of the classic from the Clash.

 

I like The Clash but not this song it gets played so much on radio when they choose a song by them drives me nuts, it’s not like they were a one hit wonder and then dropped into obscurity. The same applies to a lot of other bands too, but as I’ve been listening to them since lord knows when this is my pet peeve.

After seeing Edwyn on Jim Moir bird painting thing, I revisited their album. Why this wasnt more successful than it was I dont know. Totally diff from anything around in 82. Orange Juice were very good.

 

It is Chris, it’s a lovely track both lyrically and musically. My lad loves a broad range of music from differing era’s. I don’t ever recall hearing it until he started practicing a couple of weeks ago.
