Fitted a termi underseat system and tail tidy Put led indicators on they flashed once but now won’t work, the original ones won’t work either now so bikes off the road Can’t see a blown fuse either, can anybody help please I want to get out and ride Thanks
I know this won't of any help at all, so sorry, but mine worked straight away no issues, that was with the original mirrors with built in indicators, since fitted Rizoma tiny front led indicators with no issues or effect on the rears. They should be plug and play. Have you possibly caught a wire as you've tightened the bolts to hold the lumpy bit that fits directly to the bike. LEDs can be very fussy if everything isn't right
Thanks it’s going to have to go to a dealer I’ve been messing with it all day and can’t fix it I just want to ride it
There’s no relay or fuse. The rear indicators are run directly off the BBS ecu under the seat. It’s worth checking the polarity of the aftermarket ones. Had to swap a few over in the past. Not sure why the stock ones shouldn’t work though.
Thanks the new ones flashed once then packed in , I swapped to the OEM ones and they also wouldnt work Tested both oem and new ones on a bench with an old battery I have and they both work Maybe the BBS has had a hizzy fit dunno bit its a PIA
I’ve never understood why Ducati decided to do it that way, seems over complicated. My 899 had the number plate light fail so the BBS decided to shut down all the rear lights until I replaced it. Glad it wasn’t dark when it happened.
Pretty much an industry standard now with cars as well as bikes. Systems are run over CANBUS and rather than cables from front to back for every circuit etc. control units are used over a system of just two cables for signal communication.
Had one more go at it after trying to book it into my local dealer without success Bought some led performance indicators with resistors Battery was low so put it on optimiser and they work beautifully Old ones still don’t work but do on bench battery but don’t care Now it’s time to get out and ride
