  1. Hey Guys, after my bike warms up at idle RPM does not go below 3000 rpm. What may be the issue. I have freshly rebuilt carburators and timing belt replacment

    Thanks
    Primo

  2. Possibilities include
    Stuck choke mechanism,
air leak between carburettor and rubbers
Throttle cable pinched/ misaligned/ferrule caught outside its cup
Throttle stop screw screwed too far in
    Idle screws misadjusted
cable in the twistgrip housing outside its runner/jammed
Others will be along shortly with more intelligent suggestions

  3. I have no relevant information about the Elefant 750 but presume it uses the same Mikuni carbs as the 750SS and Monster models, hopefully not twin choke weber of the earlier ones.
With any rebuilt carbs they are going to need the pilot mixtures and throttle stops adjusted to optimise the idle and throttle pick up.
Assuming Mikunis, there are a few threads in the Monster and Supersport forums you might find useful.
