Chain Slider For The Bevels

  1. As per the title has anyone bought a made to fit chain slider for the bevels. Or perhaps utilised one made for another make/model?

I fitted one of those case saver blocks that sit underneath the swingarm pivot point to stop grinding out the sprocket cover but it doesn't protect the top of the swingarm.

I've also fashioned a protector that goes around the swingarm pivot casting but this hasn't protected the arm part.

  2. And here's an exploded view of the aforemention precision engineering.... :)

A couple of sleeves for the bolt and a cut down clutch adjuster to provide the correct spacing.

  3. With the swingarm out I noticed the bottom chain run case saver block had wear grooves in it and it'd only be a matter of time before it allowed the chain to groove the case (again). So I have now fitted the same slider to the bottom run. These sliders are so much better because it's the middle roller part of the chain that is been guided by the slider and hence there is pretty much no wear on it.

Might need some more tape round the neutral switch mind.... :)
