  1. Quick update on some solutions I've sorted for my trip next week
Butchered a ventura rack to bolt onto the rear of the bike - seems sturdy enough - might speed test it later.
Managed to source a lowered seat from Ducati Glasgow - arrived next day ( today ) big shout out to them as they had the only one in the country- me thinks after ringing every dealer.
Many thanks for all your input & can anyone order some sunshine for Europe next week as ot due to chuck it doon
    Cheers

  2. Perfect.
Always worth testing before a trip. You don't want to find something doesn't work when you just getting of the ferry/Tunnel in France.
In all honesty but for the low seat i think i would have sold my V4.

  4. Travelling Europe makes you think that way. Far more bike friendly than the UK.
Buy a house whilst you are out there.

  5. Be a bot more like a big shed - the way wor lass spends the moolah ;)

  6. I was all geared up to, until you know what. But the requirements for a visa are minimal, so I may just do it.

  7. I doubt you would regret it and you don't need to spend loads of cash.

And just imagine the biking roads.

  8. Had the software update done yesterday and it might be me, but it feels a lot better from tickover and on the overrun.

Still can’t see where I can change tyre pressure from bar to psi though.

    Any ideas?

  9. hmm looking at manual doesn't appear at first glance that you can

  10. From standard you can’t, but I’d heard that you can after the software upgrade.

After an albeit brief look, I couldn’t see it.

  11. Anyone fitted an Oberon clutch slave cylinder to their V4? Or any other after market one for that matter? Oberon don't list one for the V4 but I'm inclined to think it will be the same as the Panigale V4, having said that the oem part numbers for each are different  Waiting for Oberon to give a definitive answer but anyone who can give first hand experience would be helpful.

  12. What year Pani V4 you looking at the part number for? They changed the clutch mc and I think the slave in '22 for the "self bleeding" function.

  13. Was looking at both MY 18 and 22 Panigale, both have different part numbers and both different to the Multistrada.

  16. I'm considering buying a PP. Never had a Ducati. I'm 5'9 tall and 70kg. Anyone here about that height and weight that rides a PP (or a V4S for that matter) ? How do you find the size of the bike? Not so much while moving, I'm more interested in slow speed, parking up or generally moving the bike around. I know a test ride is the only way to find out for myself but I doubt I'd be able to get a PP for a test ride. Would I notice much difference between riding a PP and a V4S from a size/weight point of view? Would a test ride on a V4S give me a good insight into a PP?
    TIA.
